Swedish Lapland is one of the best places in the world for cross country skiing and for simply enjoying other winter activities such as snowmobiles, ice fishing or dog sleigh adventures. Of course seeing the magical Northern Lights in winter is totally dependant on weather conditions and pressures, but the often clear night skies offer visitors an ideal opportunity to admire them.

We offer customers the opportunity to rent a traditional Swedish, red country cottage in Lapland

Perfect for a truly romantic winter break, secluded and situated beside the frozen river, close the small community with its own delightful church, these warm and cosy cottages are away from all commercial activities and are perfect for those who simply want to escape and experience the peace, solitude and beauty of the winter wilderness with clean, clear air and natural environment  

Make your own entertainment; please be sure to bring along books and games to entertain yourselves during the long winter nights beside the fire, as there really is very little to apart from enjoying the wonder of the winter. Although there is a TV (mostly in Swedish), DVD and video so bring your discs

Each cottage has electricity, heating system, open fire*, stocked log store, cooker, fridge/freezer, shower or bathroom, WC and kitchen utensils

Our local guide will meet the guests on their arrival at the local airport and take you via the local supermarket, here you can stock up on the essential food and supplies required for your stay, he will then transfer you to your secluded cottage. If you like wine or spirits it is advisable to bring them with you.

Your guide will discuss with you the operation of your cottage as well as offering you the opportunity to book local trips or any activities which you may be interested in arranging, he will also provide you with his contact telephone number for use during your stay.

Return airport transfers and local taxes are also included in the prices shown

Cottages are available from £60.00 per day (minimum 3 days) or just: £399.00 per week

Return flights from Gatwick, Nottingham EM and Edinburgh via Stockholm can be arranged from just: £175.00 pp or if you prefer you can arrange you own flights

Local car hire can also be arranged if required. (Full licence to be produced)
