Northern Lights – Villa Björknäs & Cabins Self Cater
If it were possible for us to control the sunspot activities and hence the Aurora, we would set them to create these fantastic Lights every night all winter long! Sadly we can’t. — So the best we can do is to provide you with a Northern Lights alert during your stay, therefore we have a team of local Northern Light spotters around the area and as soon as they see signs of activity we will alert you approximately 30 minutes prior to picking you up and taking you away from any local light pollution to one of the best viewing points. And we bring an astronomic telescope for you to have a closer look!
Your accommodation will be in the cabin area of the Boden Camping. Villa Björknäs, which is a Bungalow complex that offers a few separate smaller apartments. These are ideal for a couple (maybe with a smaller child) or the like. For a larger party of say two adult couples or a family with adolescent kids the cabins offer a perfect accommodation solution. The location is close, approximately a ten minute walk to the town centre and the Central Lake (Bodträsket) neighbouring the local Cultural Centre and the Church. Guests can choose between a self-catering option or if you prefer, you can eat in the local cafes or restaurants. Some local takeaways offer a meal delivery service. Should we have an evening arrival, guests will be with be provided with a sandwich or light meal. Snack material and breakfast provisions for your first morning are also included.
